This is for you, Lady L. If you don't wanna catch the whole movie, at least grant the Princess and me 9 minutes and 32 seconds of your time tonight watching this. These are the highlights of Napoleon Dynamite. Hey, I think my next appliance might have to be named Napoleon. Oh, and btw, the girl, Deb? I used to have an assymetrical hair cut. Not a one-sided ponytail, though I did have ponytails. But I really truly had a do that was short on one side and neck-length on the other. I guess I was a bit like Deb. But I didn't have any boyfriends like Napoleon. Girls want boyfriends with skills, after all.
I had a mullet. Ya know, when having your "ears cut out" was cool.
ReplyDeleteI'll watch the clips in a bit. When I don't have Alex leaning SO heavily on my left arm that it's almost numb.
You did that on purpose. Now I need to know how the picture turns out!
ReplyDeleteWhat!!!! No ham for Tina! No tots! No Rexkwondo! Now I'll have to watch the movie again.
ReplyDeletehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteanybody up for a game of tetherball?
So, I HAVE to tell this story, because it is TOO FUNNY NOT TO TELL.
ReplyDeleteES can spank me again when he gets home. ;)
I went to Calvary Camp growing up. A wonderful Episcopal church camp. My first year there, I met a kid who had a hook for a hand. His arm had been amputated from just below the elbow from him falling into a "high voltage" area trying to retrieve a frizbee. ANYWAY, this kid was AWESOME. SO much fun and funny and just a blast to be around.
Problem? He always wanted to play tetherball. NO, I'm not kidding. He popped at least one ball a day with that hook.
It was HYSTERICAL.
Benjy would love this kid. Did you see his hook hand in the pic of him in the buggy at Joann's?
ReplyDeleteNapoleon likes to KICK the tetherball. It's a skill.
Benji is a smart kid. He knows that Pirates rock the socks off of ninjas!
ReplyDeleteBenji could become the "Dread Pirate Roberts".
(now you have to watch The Princess Bride!)
