Joy

I'm participating in a circle journal with some girls on the 3 Scrappy Boys message board. Each month our journals are sent to the next person in the circle of eight. My journal is now half-way done. In the jounals I've received so far, I've done layouts on why I like being a girl, what most inspires me, and what I love about my home. My CJ is on JOY - what brings each of us joy. Here is my own layout that I did for mine: (They should be side-by-side, but I can't figure out how to make that happen.)

Think about it. The things that bring us joy are really quite simple. A hug from a child, a touch from your husband, a smile from a stranger, a hot cocoa from Barnes and Noble. Today the thing that brought me the most joy was a beautiful hymn we sang in church this morning. I don't recall the name of it, the melody, or even the words. But it was beautiful. I stood singing, holding Camden in my arms, swaying to the music. This filled me with a special peace and joy that will carry me into the new work week.
What brings joy to your life?
